El Raso is a small residential area just outside Ciudad Quesada at the northern end of the Laguna Salada de la Mata.

The views from El Raso are truly wonderful including the mountains, countryside and the salt lakes.

The mediterranean beaches of Guardamar, La Mata and Torrevieja are all within a few minutes drive of El Raso.

Nearby Ciudad Quesada is a popular area where many ex pats live the whole year round. The local area offers a variety of services and amenities such as shops, restaurants, bars and much more. Ciudad Quesada also offers an aqua park.

Ciudad Quesada has its own golf course, La Marquesa Golf and Country Club. Also nearby you will find the golf courses of La Finca Golf (in Algorfa), Vistabella Golf, Royal Campoamor and Las Ramblas Golf (both in Campoamor).

A short drive south takes you to Torrevieja where you will find a wider selection of shops including the 2 covered malls at Habaneras and La Zenia boulevard. Both these shopping malls also have multi-screen cinema complexes and La Zenia Boulevard has a ten pin bowling alley.

A short drive north takes you to Guardamar del Segura (commonly referred to as just Guardamar). It is renowned for its many kilometres of fine sandy white beaches, with their accompanying dunes and surrounding forests. These all combine to make Guardamar a real paradise on the Costa Blanca.

Guardamar also has a long high street full of all kinds of shops as well as a busy market every Wednesday morning.

With its location next to the AP7 motorway, you have easy access up and down the Costa Blanca coast, from Alicante in the north to Cartagena in the south.

Travel time from Alicante Airport is 40mins and travel time from Murcia-San Javier Airport is 25 mins.
