Ciudad Quesada is located on the Costa Blanca South just 8 kilometers north and inland from the major town of Torrevieja. Other nearby towns include Rojales and San Fulgencio.
Ciudad Quesada is an unusual town because it really didn’t exist until the early 1970’s when a Spanish entrepreneur called Justo Quesada Samper decided to start his own town. The urbanisation grew over time and finally it was accepted as a real Spanish town.
Ciudad Quesada is a popular place where many people live all the whole year round. It has plenty of shops, bars and restaurants spread throughout the town including in a few key commercial centres.
Ciudad Quesada has a golf course (La Marquesa), a small aqua park, a Go Kart track and a 10 pin bowling alley - so it does have its own unique attractions.
Ciudad Quesada is ideally located to access the host of award winning beaches across the south costa blanca area, with the many blue flag beaches of Guardamar del Segura just a few minutes drive away.
The urbanisation is well-designed with many lovely landscaped areas and parks.
The views from many of the properties in Ciudad Quesada are very good: inland you can see the mountains, and the countryside surrounding Ciudad Quesdada includes many orange groves. Towards the sea you have the lovely salt lakes of Torrevieja, and the surrounding nature reserves.
